trust&funds ("we", "us") is a commercial iOS application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information: Your email address and display name when you create an account.
• Financial data: Bank account metadata (institution name, account type, last 4 digits) and transaction history, obtained via Plaid with your explicit authorization.
• Budget data: Budget categories, spending limits, and shared financial goals you create within the app.
• Device information: Push notification token, solely for delivering notifications you have enabled.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the trust&funds service
• To sync your financial transactions and display them in the app
• To send push notifications you have opted into
• To enable shared budgeting features with your connected partner

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your personal data to any third party
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• We do not use behavioral analytics SDKs
• We do not store full account numbers or banking credentials

Plaid

We use Plaid to connect to your financial accounts. By connecting an account, you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. Plaid access tokens are encrypted at rest and are never shared with third parties.

Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all personal data, financial data, and Plaid connections are permanently removed within 30 days.

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest (AES-256), and passkey-based authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn). Financial data is protected via Supabase Vault.

Children's Privacy

trust&funds is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below or use the in-app deletion flow.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date.
